Classic Sauces ~ (3/12/17)


There is nothing better than a beautiful sauce to complement the perfect dish. In our Sauces class, we will make restaurant-quality sauces and you will learn the necessary skills to execute amazing dishes at home. We will prepare many of the French “mother sauces” and understand how to balance richness, acidity, intensity and refinement. We will explore plating and how to serve sauces in dishes. You will leave understand how to make everything from perfectly balanced vinaigrettes and mayonnaise, to pan sauces and béchamel for amazing homemade macaroni and cheese. You will take home a logo apron and a set of the recipes so you may recreate your experience with family and friends. This evening includes dinner!
