Cancellation Policies

General Policies: Our general classes consist of 12-15 participants. Please arrive promptly so that we can set up and start the class on time. The kitchen will be open to guests no earlier than 15 minutes before a scheduled class or event. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes for all cooking classes.

Cancellations: All sales are final 10 days before the scheduled class/event and reservations cannot be canceled or rescheduled. We recommend travel insurance as we cannot make refunds for cancellations due to medical, family or business emergencies or other unexpected events. You can always transfer your reservation to another person.
Payments for classes cancelled more than 10 days before the scheduled class may be applied to a future class or may be refunded.

*Gift certificates are non-refundable.

If a particular class does not reach minimum numbers or for some unforeseen reason must be cancelled, you will receive a full refund or you may select a future class to attend.

Late Arrival/Cancellations for Private Events: Parties arriving more than 20 minutes after their scheduled event time will incur a $75 late fee for every 20 minutes that they are late. Groups cancelling the day of the event (or no show) forfeit their deposit and are also responsible for the remaining event balance.

Food Allergies: Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions that you or any individual accompanying you to the class may have at least 7 days before the class and we will endeavor to accommodate you.

Liability: By participating and/or being a legal guardian of a participant in a class at the Silverado Cooking School you hereby agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Silverado Cooking School, the employees, contractors, and the company from any and all liability of any kind for any damages and/or injuries incurred in connection with attendance of the class. By participating in the class you understand and accept the risks, accidents and injuries that are inherent in participating in a cooking class, including the risks inherent in the preparation, cooking and eating of food, including the dangerous use of knives, kitchen tools, electronic kitchen equipment, and the use of a stove. Knowing the risks, nevertheless, by participating in the class you hereby agree to assume those risks and to release and to hold harmless the Silverado Cooking School, the employees, contractors, and the company who through negligence or carelessness might otherwise be liable to you or a minor participant for damages. It is further understood and agreed that this waiver, release and assumption of risk is to be binding on your heirs and assigns.

Children: The Silverado Cooking School offers classes geared towards adults and teens 16+ with parent consent. Please inform the Silverado Cooking School of the name and age of your child and whether your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions when you sign up for the class.
Attendees under the age of 16 must be approved by management unless attending a class specific to the child’s age group. If approved to attend a general class, the child must be accompanied by a responsible adult also registered for the class.
